Carlin - Supply Chain Lead
About The Position
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a driven and experienced Supply Chain Lead to support supply chain and warehouse operations at their Carlin Complex and across mine sites. This role plays a key leadership function in improving service levels, optimizing inventory performance, and supporting cost-effective procurement practices. The Supply Chain Lead works closely with site operations, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure materials and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This position also leads and develops team members while supporting projects that enhance supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of procurement or supply chain experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience supervising teams required.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, vendor management, and procurement systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with enterprise systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mining or heavy industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support supply chain improvement projects that reduce costs, improve service levels, and optimize inventory performance.
- Supervise procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services needed for site operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support demand planning, supplier performance, and contract execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to support reliable service delivery.
- Prepare and review supply chain performance reports, KPIs, and operational updates for leadership.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members while supporting professional development.
- Support cross-site coordination efforts and help implement best practices across supply chain operations.
