About The Position

The Supply Chain Lead Finance Specialist will report to the CFO of the Control Solutions and Services (CSS) Business line in Gas Power. The objective of the role is to help, support, and lead the Supply Chain team in their transformation and day-to-day activities by driving strategic initiatives supported by strong financial analysis and data, managing the day-to-day financial activities with the support of an analyst for the 7 manufacturing sites, and ensuring continuous process improvement and lean transformation to help business growth. In addition to specific Supply Chain related initiatives, the Supply Chain Finance Specialist will be involved in global transformation and structural initiatives for the CSS Business line.

Responsibilities

• Lead global transformation initiatives with the CEO, CFO, and Global Supply Chain team to optimize the global footprint.
• Own financial modeling of footprint optimization initiatives, working cross-functionally with operations and SIOP to drive effective, data-driven decision-making based on capacity and demand planning.
• Support the Longmont Supply Chain team in the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor footprint.
• Lead the financial analysis for footprint decisions around the North America Distribution Center and the European Distribution Center.
• Support SIOP process development and revamping to ensure business growth is sustained by accurate and effective supply chain planning.
• Own the wing-to-wing process of the CAPEX budget, including budget development, business case creation, budget approvals, and budget oversight during the 12 months of the CAPEX budget.
• Lead the Supply Chain FPC budget creation, working closely with the Global Supply Chain leader and site leaders to ensure comprehensive and accurate budget planning for the following year.
• Support the merger of Controls Solutions and Services and PERS through process alignment and change management.
• Work cross-functionally with the materials team to create a harmonized inventory process with clear targets for inventory levels, inventory turns, scrap, E&O, etc., and lead the audit/financial portion of the physical inventory.
• Own the CSS tariff model, updates, analysis, and forecast.
• Drive accuracy and transparency in tariff forecasting by maintaining detailed estimates, assessing P&L impact (FIFO, parts and projects upsides, duty drawback), identifying affected vendors, and consolidating data to the Gas Power level for strategic decision-making.
• Analyze BWRX BOMs to understand the tariff impact and report to the Commercial Leader and Project Manager.
• Oversee financials of 4 global manufacturing sites and 2 strategically contracted global manufacturing sites, analyzing inventory trends, operating costs, labor utilization, etc.
• Support the month-close and quarter-close process by analyzing FIFO, E&O, freight, FPC, liquidation rate, etc.
