About The Position

This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the laboratory network, including materials and supplies movement and replenishment to the point of use in the laboratory. The candidate performs cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, interacting with the laboratory staff and supply analysts to assure material availability.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems is desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with all levels of staff.
• Efficient planning and organizing skills.
• Good math skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in a variety of software, such as Excel, Word, and Visio, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in the assigned region including laboratories and patient service centers.
• Participate in internal work teams in the continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes focused on overall cost and cycle time reduction.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to assure the accuracy of on-hand inventories.
• Maintain visual management tools and mistake-proof initiatives such as labels with photos.
