Duration: 12 weeks (summer 2027) Location : Torrance, CA (onsite) Purpose We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Intern to support our rapidly growing operations. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in supply chain planning, logistics , procurement, and inventory management within an advanced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Production, Engineering, and Program Management—to ensure materials and components flow efficiently through our supply chain.

Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field .
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis; experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar supply chain systems.
  • Interest in advanced manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace industries.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in procurement activities , including issuing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and tracking deliveries.
  • Support supply chain planning and scheduling to align material availability with production timelines.
  • Help monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to logistics coordination , including inbound and outbound shipping, freight tracking, and documentation.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and scalability.
