About The Position
OUC – The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the Financial & Support division. The OUC Internship Program is dedicated to providing students with real-world, hands-on experience by partnering with energy leaders and experienced professionals, while bringing new and out-of-the-box perspectives and ideas that are essential for fostering the creativity and growth of any business. We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst Intern. During this internship, you will be partnering with the Materials Demand team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
- Academic status of Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
- Program of study: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong academic foundation in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Inventory Management or Buying.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and resolve issues under deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.

- Previous internship experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicating with external suppliers to obtain updated supply data.
- Maintaining supplier catalogs within the ERP system, including pricing and units of measure, to ensure an accurate material ordering process.
- Assist in maintaining the electronic scrap revenue database to track related information.
- Update and review established metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Transition new inventory items obtained through major purchases into the ERP system.
- Assist the Inventory Control Analyst in updating item records with accurate data.
