About The Position

GHSP is offering an exciting opportunity to participate as an Intern in the
day-to-day activities of our Supply Chain/Purchasing department. You will learn
from some of the best in the industry in a comfortable environment. This is a
part-time or full-time Internship position with flexible hours, Monday - Friday,
starting on-site in Grand Haven with the potential for hybrid/remote work.

Specific areas of learning and execution include:

Assist in managing Supplier Request for Quotes (RFQ)
Supplier onboarding
Supplier data analytics: Spend, Total-Cost/Total Price, Total Cost of
Ownership, tariff impact analysis
Supplier communication management: draft, send, response follow-up

Requirements

• High school graduate working towards degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Advanced skills in Excel, and proficient in other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage complex data spreadsheets; create pivot tables, macros and data analysis functions
• Proficient with the English language
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a desire to achieve goals
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Grand Haven Michigan
