About The Position

This position is for the Summer Internship Program starting in June 2027. The Clorox Supply Organization is a diverse & inclusive global community of empowered people. Supply Chain is comprised of operational and support organizations focusing on buying, making & shipping products for our variety of well-known brands. The Supply Chain Intern – Business Track role is part of our carefully designed Summer Internship Program that provides you with valuable experience in one of our Support Services groups. You'll also participate in a variety of development activities that increase your learning of the end-to-end Supply Chain (Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, etc.), the CPG industry, and the Clorox culture. This position is located in Alpharetta, GA (near Atlanta, GA). You may be required to travel to other Clorox locations depending on your group assignment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and build relationships both vertically/horizontally within Clorox
• Ability to identify and translate priorities into clear actionable tactics, effective organization and time management skills, multi-task well, set goals and achieve them
• Strong aptitude for learning new systems and processes
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship for employment
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year university undergraduate degree program
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Logistics & Transportation, Mathematics, or related field

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
• Current Junior/Senior class standing
• GPA Required 3.0 or higher

Responsibilities

• As a Supply Chain Business Intern, you will be assigned to one of our business Supply Chain activities & groups. Business track activities & groups include but are not limited to: logistics analysis, customer relationship management, order management, problem solving and solution recommendation and implementation, interfacing with customers, vendors, and partners, and assisting with other internal and external initiatives.
• Create beneficial reports and analyze their findings in order to support Operations Planning Management decision making in the areas of production, demand, inventory levels, transportation and historical sales/demand
• Support Logistics decision making in the areas of customer service, distribution center operations and transportation by maintaining/reporting on key metrics and other ongoing reporting activities
• Build strength among all four analytic types (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive)
• Improve Supply Chain time-to-X (decision, revenue, cost savings, etc.)
• Increase Supply Chain strategic thinking time
• Facilitate and/or lead effective processes for internal information gathering and analysis
• Work with team members to break down business processes to drive out waste
• Help manage procurement processes and engage with team members to understand requirements and needs
