About The Position

The Supply Chain Fulfillment Consultant supports the design, execution, and improvement of fulfillment strategies that enhance operational performance, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. As a subject matter expert, this role partners with Distribution, Transportation, Merchandising, Technology, and Operations teams to implement scalable, data-driven solutions. The Consultant drives process improvements, manages project execution, and ensures consistent adoption of best practices and technologies across the supply chain network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 10+ years of overall experience supply chain, fulfillment, or operations with a focus on process improvement and project delivery.
  • 5-7 years demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple priorities
  • 5-7 years proven ability to analyze data and performance metrics to drive operational decisions
  • Experience coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables across teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence
  • Proficiency with supply chain management or fulfillment systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Ability to influence without authority in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail or omnichannel fulfillment operations
  • Knowledge of service provider management or dispatch scheduling systems
  • Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of fulfillment process improvements and tools that enhance efficiency and service levels.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver projects and solutions that optimize product flow and reduce operational costs.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Manage fulfillment-related projects from planning through implementation, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
  • Apply data-driven insights to evaluate current vs. future state processes and quantify performance impact.
  • Provide guidance and support to fulfillment teams in resolving operational challenges.
  • Develop and maintain fulfillment policies, procedures, and process documentation.
  • Support change management and communication plans to ensure successful adoption of new fulfillment processes and technologies.
