About The Position

The Supply Chain Finance Intern will be responsible for leading Supply Chain Audits, assisting with the fixed asset audit, documenting processes and performing audits for Engineering/Manufacturing labor vouchering, and working on a Supply Chain process improvement project focused on Crown Jewel Cost out opportunities. The intern will also be assigned other duties as needed. Additionally, the intern will gain exposure to HMH’s workplace culture by interacting with various functions, enhance their knowledge and skills by applying them in real business scenarios, develop professional communication skills with Executive Leadership, and experience performance evaluations and feedback in a professional setting.

Requirements

Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Finance/Accounting majors preferred
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results
Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem
Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
