About The Position

Huntsman is seeking a Supply Chain Director Americas supporting the ADMAT Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Americas Leadership Team. The Supply Chain Director Americas is responsible for leading and optimizing all supply chain activities across the Americas region. This role drives strategic supply chain initiatives that support business objectives, with a strong focus on free cash flow, order fulfillment, capacity planning, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The position also provides leadership for logistics, demand and supply planning, manufacturing site material planning, and customer service operations while fostering collaboration across regions and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within Supply Chain or a comparable business environment.
  • 2+ years of global supply chain experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Proven experience driving business transformation and implementing organizational change.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, including P&L and balance sheet structures and key performance drivers.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across regions and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on Zero Harm (EHS programs).
  • Develop and enhance strategic supply chain models to achieve business goals related to free cash flow, order fulfillment, and capacity planning.
  • Promote cross-regional collaboration and best-practice sharing.
  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Represent the Supply Chain function within the Americas Leadership Team.
  • Foster a performance-oriented culture across the organization.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with global supply chain teams and other regions.
  • Optimize the supply chain network, including planning, logistics, packaging, distribution, and warehousing operations.
  • Manage third-party warehouse and logistics provider performance.
  • Ensure active participation of supply chain functions in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
  • Ensure the efficient distribution of goods across all locations.
  • Oversee site material planning activities, from Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) through detailed capacity scheduling.
  • Implement warehouse best practices to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
  • Ensure effective order processing and management of customer operational relationships.
  • Maintain compliance with SOX requirements.
