The Temporary Supply Chain Coordinator supports the execution of day-to-day supply chain activities including order processing, materials coordination, shipment tracking, and internal communication. This role ensures accurate and timely flow of information and materials across procurement, planning, production, and logistics functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years data entry experience including MS Office suite
  • Math skills
  • Experience with ERP or similar system preferred
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or administrative coordination
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Computer literacy
  • Detail oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and tracking
  • Effective communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Process and track purchase orders, production orders, and internal supply requests
  • Ensure accuracy of order data within ERP systems
  • Monitor order status and follow up on open or delayed items
  • Support inbound and outbound material flow to ensure timely availability for production
  • Coordinate shipments, receipts, and documentation with suppliers and logistics partners
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies in deliveries, quantities, or documentation
  • Serve as a communication link between procurement, planning, production, and warehouse teams
  • Provide status updates on orders, materials, and production readiness
  • Escalate issues that may impact production schedules or customer deliveries
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and transaction integrity
  • Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities
  • Help ensure ERP data consistency across supply chain processes
  • Support standard work processes across supply chain functions
  • Identify opportunities for improving accuracy, speed, and communication flow
  • Participate in cross-training and backup support across all supply chain roles
