Position Summary The Supply Chain Coordinator – DC Bypass is responsible for coordinating and managing all direct ship and DC bypass orders to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient movement of merchandise from suppliers to customers. This role serves as a key point of contact between internal business partners, vendors, freight brokers, and customers, ensuring shipments are executed efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. This is an on-site, highly collaborative position where success depends on regular interaction with cross-functional teams, participation in meetings, and real-time communication with internal stakeholders. The role follows a hybrid work schedule of Monday through Thursday in the office and Friday remote, with the understanding that the schedule may change at any time based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, import/export, order management, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of international business practices, import/export processes, or global supply chain operations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with an ERP system; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and with external partners.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, take initiative, and drive timely resolution.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as an engaged member of a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer deliveries and proactively communicate with freight brokers to ensure the timely movement of all direct ship and DC bypass shipments.
  • Submit delivery requests for foreign-to-foreign shipments paid through U.S. operations.
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Sales, Customer Service, Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to communicate shipment status, resolve issues, and ensure successful order execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for direct ship and DC bypass shipment updates, providing timely communication to business partners and customers as needed.
  • Receive, review, and maintain import documentation, including arrival notices, delivery orders, and other required shipping documents from customs brokers.
  • Create SAP inbound shipments upon receipt of complete and accurate documentation.
  • Allocate inventory and route customer orders as necessary to meet shipping and delivery requirements.
  • Generate UCC-128 labels to support customer compliance requirements.
  • Perform Post Goods Receipt (PGR) transactions and trigger invoice creation for all direct ship and DC bypass shipments.
  • Update customer portals and websites with shipment, tracking, and delivery information as required.
  • Participate in team meetings, cross-functional discussions, and operational planning sessions to support business priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and escalate shipment exceptions, delays, or documentation issues while collaborating with internal and external partners to drive timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and established supply chain processes.
  • Prioritize multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
