About The Position

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced, results-driven Supply Chain Commodity Manager to lead warehouse and third-party logistics (3PL) work across global businesses. The role manages multiple commodities across product lines and leads large, complex projects while driving global cost savings and value-added services. It calls for strong supply chain expertise, advanced data analytics, and practical use of artificial intelligence to improve operational speed, accuracy, and value. The manager works independently and with cross-functional teams to deliver results efficiently and on time.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 8 years of progressive supply chain experience, including direct warehouse and 3PL management.
Experience at several organizations, both inside and outside healthcare, providing a broad cross-industry perspective.
Demonstrated success managing multiple commodities across different product lines.
Track record of leading large, complex projects and delivering measurable cost savings at a global scale.
Strong data analytics skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar.
Hands-on experience using AI tools and technologies in supply chain operations.
Strong project planning, organization, and execution skills.
Ability to deliver measurable outcomes with urgency and accountability.
Ability to clearly present complex data and recommendations to executives.
Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional, global teams.
Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business.
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

Manage relationships with 3PL providers and warehouse partners, including performance, governance, and contract compliance.
Monitor and improve service levels, KPIs, and SLAs across warehouse and distribution networks.
Lead 3PL sourcing, onboarding, transitions, and exits while maintaining continuity of operations.
Manage multiple commodities across Siemens Healthineers product lines and business units.
Develop and execute commodity strategies balancing cost, quality, risk, and service.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align supply chain strategy with business goals.
Use advanced data analytics to identify supply chain trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
Apply AI tools and automation to improve forecasting, inventory optimization, spend analysis, and decision-making.
Build dashboards and reports that provide clear, data-backed insights for leadership.
Lead large-scale, cross-functional supply chain projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements, and manage risks and dependencies.
Provide regular, clear project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives across global operations.
Develop value-added services and process improvements that strengthen service and customer outcomes.
Track, validate, and report savings and business impact.
Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Quality, Operations, Customer Service, and IT.
Work independently with little supervision and lead or support cross-functional teams as needed.
Influence stakeholders at all levels to drive decisions and achieve results.
