About The Position

This position plays an important role in keeping vehicles serviced, supplied, and ready for customers. The work ensures that maintenance and repair teams have what they need, directly supporting vehicle availability and a positive customer experience. The role provides clerical and administrative support to vehicle maintenance, auto body damage, and fleet services operations. This includes managing inventory records, processing purchase and repair orders, handling invoices, and supporting accounts payable and receivable activities. Depending on location, responsibilities may include ordering automotive parts, tools, and shop supplies for a fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands. Additional duties involve answering phones, communicating with internal teams and external vendors, and assisting with onboarding, training coordination, and general administrative support for on-site leadership. The role supports efficient repairs, reduced downtime, and reliable vehicles for customers by ensuring parts, supplies, and documentation are accurate and timely.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Willingness to occasionally work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Minimum of 1 year of office or clerical experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
  • Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Regular, on-site presence required

Responsibilities
