About The Position

Join the Avis Budget Group team as a Supply Chain Clerk and play an important role in keeping our vehicles serviced, supplied, and ready for customers. This role provides clerical and administrative support to vehicle maintenance, auto body damage, and fleet services operations. Your work directly supports vehicle availability and a positive customer experience by ensuring maintenance and repair teams have the necessary parts and supplies. This is a full-time position with an immediate hiring opportunity.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Willingness to occasionally work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Minimum of 1 year of office or clerical experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

• Knowledge of automotive parts, tools, or fleet operations is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to vehicle maintenance, auto body damage, and fleet services operations.
• Manage inventory records.
• Process purchase and repair orders.
• Handle invoices.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Order automotive parts, tools, and shop supplies for a fleet of newer vehicles (depending on location).
• Answer phones.
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and general administrative support for on-site leadership.
• Ensure parts, supplies, and documentation are accurate and timely to support efficient repairs, reduced downtime, and reliable vehicles.
