About The Position

Join the Avis Budget Group team as a Supply Chain Clerk and play an important role in keeping our vehicles serviced, supplied, and ready for customers. This position supports our fast-paced automotive operation by ensuring our maintenance and repair teams have the necessary parts and supplies, directly contributing to vehicle availability and a positive customer experience. You will provide essential clerical and administrative support to vehicle maintenance, auto body damage, and fleet services operations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Willingness to occasionally work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Minimum of 1 year of office or clerical experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

• Knowledge of automotive parts, tools, or fleet operations is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to vehicle maintenance, auto body damage, and fleet services operations.
• Manage inventory records.
• Process purchase and repair orders.
• Handle invoices.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Order automotive parts, tools, and shop supplies for a fleet of newer vehicles (depending on location).
• Answer phones.
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and general administrative support for on-site leadership.
• Ensure parts, supplies, and documentation are accurate and timely to support efficient repairs, reduced downtime, and reliable vehicles.
