About The Position
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This involves rethinking every layer of the stack, from acquiring power to designing, building, and operating data centers. The Supply Chain Team is critical to achieving Fluidstack's ambitious goals, focusing on supplying massive amounts of compute, ensuring supply chain efficiency to enable rapid build-outs, and leveraging AI for predictive modeling of lead times, demand, and disruptions.
Requirements
- Experience as a buyer in a fast-moving supply chain with a heavy PO load.
- Proven ability to chase confirmations diligently.
- Experience expediting critical parts through constrained suppliers.
- Strong ERP hygiene, ensuring accurate dates, prices, and quantities.
- Ability to escalate issues with assembled facts and a recommendation.
Nice To Haves
- NetSuite or Zip experience.
- Experience in data center, construction, or electronics categories.
- Basic understanding of freight.
- Fluency in Excel and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Execute purchasing across assigned categories, ensuring POs are cut same-day, confirmations are chased, and deliveries land on schedule.
- Own the order book, maintaining current statuses, escalating exceptions, and preventing silent slips.
- Work vendor issues to resolution, including shortages, substitutions, and expedites, quantifying the impact on the schedule.
- Maintain clean data in the ERP system to ensure accuracy for planning and finance operations.
