About The Position

The Supply Chain Associate supports the end-to-end purchasing and supply management process, with a focus on fastener and outsourced processing orders. This role converts purchase requisitions into accurate purchase orders, manages the RFQ process to secure competitive pricing, and maintains up-to-date purchase order data within the ERP system. The Supply Chain Associate helps ensure timely delivery of purchased parts, resolves receiving issues, and maintains key master data to support efficient and reliable supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Experience with supply chain processes such as purchasing, RFQ management, and supplier coordination.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems for creating, managing, and updating purchase orders and master data.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, including the ability to work effectively with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a supply chain program or a closely related field.
  • Internship experience in supply chain or a related area.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when handling purchase orders and master data.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding order status and delivery expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Convert purchase requisitions into accurate and timely purchase orders for fastener and outsourced processing orders.
  • Manage the RFQ (Request for Quote) process to obtain competitive bids and ensure the organization achieves the best price for goods and services.
  • Provide clear and regular status updates on purchase orders, including expected delivery dates and any changes in schedule.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and current purchase order data within the ERP system to support planning and reporting.
  • Monitor and help maintain supplier on-time delivery performance for purchased parts.
  • Maintain and update supply chain-related master data inputs to ensure data integrity in the ERP and related systems.
  • Resolve receiving holds and issues related to purchased items by coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Perform other duties related to the supply chain function as requested, in alignment with the responsibilities of the role.
