Supply Chain Associate
About The Position
The Supply Chain Associate position is responsible for order fulfillment and distribution, storeroom operations, and customer service within the Material Management department. This role involves picking and preparing supply orders, delivering them to designated locations, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The associate will also manage inventory levels, maintain transaction records, and assist with material handling. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with clinical and operational teams to meet supply needs, provide timely support, and communicate any inventory or supply concerns to leadership. The position is full-time with a weekly hour commitment of 40.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare supply orders for hospital departments
- Deliver supplies to designated locations throughout the facility
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently
- Support urgent and special supply requests
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas
- Organize inventory to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility
- Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs
- Maintain inventory transactions within departmental systems
- Assist with product movement and material handling activities
- Follow established safety and infection prevention guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to meet supply needs
- Provide timely support to internal customers
- Communicate inventory issues and supply concerns to leadership
- Support department initiatives and process improvement efforts
- Assist with additional supply chain functions as assigned
