About The Position

Zulay Kitchen is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to work closely with our Director of Supply Chain and help keep our day-to-day supply chain operations running smoothly. This is a highly organized, hands-on support role for someone who is great at following up, keeping people accountable, solving problems, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll be the Director’s right hand, helping coordinate the supply chain team, track priorities, follow up on open issues, and keep daily operations moving.

Requirements

Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Strong follow-up and communication skills
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and tracking multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable holding yourself and others accountable to deadlines
Able to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

1–3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, purchasing, or a similar role
E-commerce/Amazon experience is a plus
Experience working with inventory, purchasing, or logistics is a plus
You're a get-it-done person.
You don't need someone reminding you to follow up. You see a problem and start working on it. You keep track of what needs to happen, who is responsible, and when it's due.
You'll work closely with the Director of Supply Chain, so we're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the Director of Supply Chain to support daily operations
Help coordinate and organize the supply chain team’s daily priorities
Follow up with team members to ensure tasks and deadlines are being completed
Track open issues, action items, orders, shipments, and other priorities
Help identify problems or delays and bring them to the Director’s attention
Assist with inventory, purchasing, logistics, and supplier coordination
Help monitor purchase orders and incoming shipments
Communicate with internal teams to ensure everyone has the information they need
Maintain reports, spreadsheets, and supply chain documentation
Help prepare information and reports for the Director of Supply Chain
Keep projects and initiatives moving forward
Assist with improving processes and creating better systems for the team
Step in wherever needed to help the supply chain department operate efficiently
