About The Position

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, specializes in customized power distribution and protection systems, including relay and control panels, medium voltage switchgear, and power/control buildings. The company describes a work culture that includes hands-on training, mentorship, and internal promotion. The Supply Chain Analyst will be located in Dallas, Texas, and oversee customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. The role supports development and implementation of GPSC reports and uses data research and trend analysis to facilitate resolution-making. Flex plans to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into Axiom, a new independent publicly traded company, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
At least 7 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management, supply chain design or management, or another related area.
Understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends, and technologies.

Responsibilities

Drive sourcing and pricing strategies in materials quotations.
Present materials value-add to customers or suppliers and influence customers to use Flex preferred suppliers.
Interface with customers or suppliers during new project start-up on cost-of-ownership issues.
Develop and guide implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
Manage component cost and price on a local, regional, and global basis.
Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
Define and implement pricing and costing strategies.
Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and customers.
Develop and implement cost take-down strategies.
Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time, and Electronic Data Interface penetration.
