About The Position

As a full-time Supply Chain Analyst, you will be a strategic link between the Supply Chain Department and the rest of the company, influencing how Fastenal manages product flow domestically and internationally. The position may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and training are complete and performance goals are met.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have prior administrative, customer service, or clerical experience, or industry experience and product knowledge.
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.
• Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Nice To Haves

• Possess or be working toward a degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related Business field.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecasts and inventory plans.
• Collaborate with product development, operations, and sales on product supply and placement.
• Review and analyze regional sales trends to determine stocking locations.
• Analyze data and communicate results clearly.
• Analyze large data sets and derive meaningful summaries.
