About The Position

The Supply Chain Data & Forecasting Analyst supports operational efficiency and strategic decision-making across the supply chain. The role analyzes large datasets, develops and inputs demand forecasts, identifies trends, and provides cross-functional teams with actionable insights. It also includes assorted buying responsibilities, vendor relations, and procurement insights as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or an equivalent field.
1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, demand planning, or forecasting.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Knowledge of forecasting methodologies such as time-series analysis, regression models, and statistical modeling.
Experience with ERP systems, forecasting tools, or planning systems.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Proficiency in Excel and business intelligence and data analysis tools.
Ability to build and maintain forecasting models that translate data into actionable recommendations and identify supply chain risks and opportunities.
Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and work with evolving data sources.
Problem-solving skills focused on root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Ability to collaborate across operations, procurement, finance, new products, engineering, and sales.
Understanding of industry-specific supply chain considerations such as seasonality, product lifecycle, lead-time variability, and supplier constraints.
Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with NetSuite and/or StockIQ is preferred.
Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools is preferred.
Experience with statistical modeling or programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve inventory demand forecasting models to support inventory optimization, procurement planning, inventory sizing, and global operations.
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activity, and external factors to improve forecast accuracy.
Prepare regular reporting dashboards and KPI summaries for leadership.
Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools to monitor supply chain KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, and lead-time performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
Collaborate with IT to improve data quality, streamline data flows, and enhance system capabilities.
Validate inputs and maintain data integrity while identifying trends, variances, and improvement opportunities in supply chain data.
Lead SIOP processes with data-driven insights related to sales, inventory, and leadership.
Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of supply chain shortages, disruptions, overstock, and inventory optimization.
Provide ad-hoc analysis for strategic initiatives, including new product launches, supplier transitions, capacity planning, cost-reduction projects, and operational decisions.
Document forecasting processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource to other members of the procurement team.
Perform buying responsibilities and support vendor relations and procurement insights as needed.
