About The Position
HOYA Vision Care is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Lewisville, Texas. This role involves planning and optimizing shipments, managing procurement and supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 0-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, with a strong interest in transportation, procurement, or global supply chains. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
- Strong interest in transportation, procurement, or global supply chains.
- Attention to detail, strong learning mindset, and comfort with data and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to transportation or logistics operations (parcel, LTL, air, ocean, 3PLs)
- Experience with procurement or purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with ERP, TMS, or procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, NetSuite).
- Experience building reports or KPIs and working cross‑functionally.
Responsibilities
- Plan and optimize inbound and outbound shipments across parcel, LTL, air, and ocean transportation modes.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve exceptions with carriers, distribution centers, labs, and customer service teams.
- Assist with import and export compliance, including customs documentation and processes.
- Support carrier sourcing initiatives, RFP analysis, and transportation performance measurement.
- Prepare and submit purchase requisitions in accordance with company policies.
- Create and manage purchase orders, including expediting, updating, or closing orders as required.
- Investigate and resolve open or aging purchase orders.
- Resolve pricing, quantity, or delivery discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
- Support supplier relationship management, audits, catalog maintenance, and data accuracy.
- Maintain organized documentation and procurement records.
