HOYA Vision Care is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Lewisville, Texas. This role involves planning and optimizing shipments, managing procurement processes, and contributing to analytics and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong interest in transportation, procurement, or global supply chains.
  • Attention to detail, strong learning mindset, and comfort with data and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to transportation or logistics operations (parcel, LTL, air, ocean, 3PLs)
  • Experience with procurement or purchasing processes
  • Familiarity with ERP, TMS, or procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, NetSuite)
  • Experience building reports or KPIs and working cross‑functionally

Responsibilities

  • Plan and optimize inbound and outbound shipments across parcel, LTL, air, and ocean transportation modes.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve exceptions with carriers, distribution centers, labs, and customer service teams.
  • Assist with import and export compliance, including customs documentation and processes.
  • Support carrier sourcing initiatives, RFP analysis, and transportation performance measurement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on service, cost, and efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requisitions in accordance with company policies.
  • Learn and operate the company’s procurement system, including basic system maintenance.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, including expediting, updating, or closing orders as required.
  • Investigate and resolve open or aging purchase orders.
  • Resolve pricing, quantity, or delivery discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support supplier relationship management, audits, catalog maintenance, and data accuracy.
  • Maintain organized documentation and procurement records.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for vendor performance, purchasing spend, and procurement accuracy.
  • Update and distribute monthly reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Support cross‑functional process improvement initiatives.
