About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst manages and analyzes entire supply chain or high risk, complex activities. Develops across supply chain business models to achieve major improvements within business process, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management, or logistics costs. Makes decisions involving a high degree of complexity. Works with the management team to develop supply chain disciplines and best practices, including processes and procedures. Requires an exceptional level of strategic thinking, change initiation, and a long-term corporate perspective.

Requirements

  • Requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • ERP experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience and execution of lean tools including pull systems, PDCA thinking, kanbans, value stream maps and PFEP.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on tactical projects with some work on strategic initiatives.
  • Represent the supply chain on cross-functional business unit teams.
  • Propose, implement, and support multi-site or high-level business tools and process enhancements (continuous process improvement).
  • Analyze entire supply chain including logistics costs, materials, and sources.
  • Recommend improvements based on supply chain analysis.
  • Lead integration of new high-level process changes.
  • Manage large projects related to changes in the supply chain.
  • Communicate project status to all levels of management.
  • Develop and deliver business plans or models for operations management and other supply chain leaders.
  • Identify, develop, and complete strategic-level work plans for the entire supply chain or high-risk projects.
  • Own, develop, and implement business processes and related improvements.
  • Facilitate small-medium teams having explicit objectives and scope.
  • Manage entire supply chain cross-functional projects.
  • Align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives.
  • Work independently across the entire supply chain and thrive in a non-hierarchical organization.
