About The Position

A Supply Chain Analyst involves overseeing and optimizing the movement of goods and services from suppliers to customers. Key responsibilities include managing procurement, inventory, and logistics, while also analyzing data to identify process improvements, forecasting demand, and resolving supply chain issues. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to ensure efficiency and responsiveness.

Requirements

• The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and find solutions to complex challenges.
• Effectively collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently to keep the supply chain running smoothly.
• Experience with supply chain and inventory management software, such as ERP systems, as well as common office suites.
• A keen eye for detail is crucial for managing inventory, data, and logistics accurately.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field like business or economics is often required.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing materials and managing supplier relationships, including negotiating prices and delivery terms.
• Monitoring stock levels, organizing storage, and maintaining optimal inventory to meet demand while controlling costs.
• Coordinating the transportation, warehousing, and delivery of goods to ensure they arrive on time and in the right place.
• Analyzing supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and using software to track and manage operations.
• Predicting customer demand and adjusting supply chain activities to meet it, as well as responding to sudden changes.
• Troubleshooting issues within the supply chain, such as shipment delays or order fulfillment problems.
