About The Position

This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to automate, standardize, and support business processes and functions across the business unit and various technologies. The analyst will develop and support existing reporting and analytics to achieve cost and productivity savings. The position involves serving as a business/technical subject matter expert (SME) for technologies used by Warehouse, Distribution, and Transportation teams, providing support for system initiatives, developing KPIs and measurement tools, creating standardized reports and dashboards, documenting SOPs and training materials, leading technical meetings, auditing technology usage, spearheading system improvement initiatives, acting as a liaison with technology service providers, and assisting with distribution center vehicle management. A significant part of the role includes supply chain modeling and analytics projects with an operations research focus, such as network optimization, data cleansing and automation, statistical programming, and simulation modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a closely related field
  • 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst
  • 3 years of experience working with SQL, VBA, Tableau and MS Office Suite
  • 3 years of experience working with Common Transportation Management (TMS), and Vehicle Routing and Scheduling (VRS) systems
  • 3 years of experience working with Network Optimization/Modeling software including Coupa Supply Chain Guru
  • 3 years of experience working with Commercial or bespoke Vehicle Routing Optimization (VRO) software to define efficient master transportation routes
  • 3 years of experience working with Python, R, and machine learning algorithms
  • Experience processing and cleansing data sets with greater than 500k records using desktop ETL tools including Data Guru or Alteryx

Responsibilities

  • Serving as business/technical subject matter expert (SME) for various technologies utilized across Warehouse, Distribution and Transportation (e.g., TruBlu fleet) teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Providing business/technical support to Corporate, Supply Chain, Distribution Center personnel for Supply Chain system initiatives, including network optimization modeling and supply chain analytic.
  • Assisting with the development of KPIs and measurement tools.
  • Developing standardized reporting / dashboards as per business needs.
  • Documenting and publishing detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for technologies.
  • Providing on-going training to the Distribution/Transportation teams as required.
  • Leading technical meetings and discussions.
  • Auditing various technologies to ensure that master data is being updated, maintained and proper procedures are being followed.
  • Spearheading initiatives to improve the functionality of systems for the distribution centers.
  • Serving as the primary day-to-day business/technical contact for technology service providers and distribution/transportation teams to aid if troubleshooting is required and/or acting as bridge between providers and field personnel.
  • Assisting in distribution center vehicle management with regards to current inventory and future needs based on patient / clinic / territory changes and realignment.
  • Supply chain modeling and analytics project work with an operations research focus including network optimization modeling, data cleansing and automation, statistical programming, and simulation modeling.
