Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, supply chain, commodity management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with suppliers, negotiations, or commercial activities.
  • Experience supporting electronic component supply chains, manufacturing operations, or technology-focused products.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductors, memory, PCBAs, or other electronic components.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, supplier management, and cost drivers.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting sourcing activities for semiconductors, memory, PCBAs, or other electronic hardware.
  • Experience working with supply planning, allocation management, or supply recovery initiatives.
  • Experience supporting connected vehicle, infotainment, telecommunications, or electronics programs.
  • Experience working with global suppliers or cross-functional teams.
  • Master's degree or professional certification in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing and supply strategies for electronic commodities across multiple vehicle programs.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to improve supply visibility and performance.
  • Monitor semiconductor and electronic component supply, identify potential risks, and support mitigation and recovery actions.
  • Support commercial activities including supplier negotiations, capacity planning discussions, and cost management initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Material Planning & Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, and Program teams to align supply with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting on supply risks, inventory levels, supplier performance, and recovery actions.
  • Support commodity strategies, sourcing plans, and long-range supply planning activities.
  • Collaborate with global teams across North America, Europe, China, and joint ventures to address supply challenges and share best practices.
