About The Position

The Senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst is responsible for applying existing knowledge and experience in the System Analyses and Material Management Discipline to support strategic assignments. They will utilize best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to enhance products or services within the Material Supply Chain Systems Analyst and Material Management Discipline. The Senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst applies their conceptual knowledge of Data Analysis and, with moderate guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of complex Material Management problems. They will be responsible for analyzing potential solutions using standard procedures and developing an understanding of the company, its processes, and customers. The Senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Systems Engineering, Computer Science (or a relevant discipline) or HSD / GED / IGCSE with three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SQL, Power BI including DAX, Tableau Ability to generate Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and pivot tables with supporting analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Mentally agile and ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
  • Utilizes communication skills appropriate to the environment, resulting in effective interactions with various departments.
  • Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level
  • Technical proficiency in query languages and data visualization tools for data analysis and reporting. (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Technical proficiency in scripting languages and/or low-code/no-code platforms for automation tasks. (e.g. PowerShell, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Knowledge of change management practices, methods, and techniques to adapt, drive and implement change.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Material Management Team.
  • Receive, Review, Process and Release Imperial SoM Oracle Agile PLM Bills of Material to Oracle JD Edwards.
  • Identify, Resolve and Prevent issues in the company’s MRP(Materials Requirements Planning) System.
  • Understand the systems and technology used in the process.
  • Responsible for generating daily reports for Procurement.
  • Responsible for managing and enhancing the Current MRP Procurement Tool.
  • Responsible for updating the Procurement Databases.
  • Manage the Procurement Databases and Reports.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or enhancement through application features.
  • Conduct detailed requirements gathering and systems analysis for new implementations, upgrades, or customizations, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Assess integration requirements between business applications and third-party systems, designing and testing interfaces to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Develop and execute test cases for application changes, including updates, customizations, and integrations, to validate functionality, performance, and compatibility before production deployment.
  • Participate in system architecture reviews and design sessions, evaluating scalability, reliability, and alignment with long-term business objectives.
