Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 2 Years Human Resources, administrative or customer service preferred
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret employment policies, instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English
  • Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
  • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Process and contact colleagues on various Staffing Reports such as Zero Hours and No Call No Show to determine their return-to-work status.
  • Partner with Building Staffing to request and manage job requisitions for various needs throughout the year.
  • Input colleague status changes, transfers, promotions, and data corrections.
  • Partner with People Leaders to contact contingent new hires requiring background check information.
  • Direct colleagues and People Leaders to the correct channels for Off-Cycle Pay Requests and Missed Clocking Corrections.
  • Assist colleagues and People Leaders in working with central teams for PTO, Paycheck, Benefits, LOA, or Direct Deposit inquiries.
  • Assist Help and Safety Teams with the administration of Annual Recertification.
  • Participate in Company-required compliance audits, including I-9 reverifications and required postings.
  • Assist People Leaders with tracking attendance.
  • Facilitate final pay documents for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Forward files to Colleague Services in accordance with Company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
