About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Supply Base Manager Team Lead who facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations to join our Post Award team in Hazelwood, MO. In this role, the focus will be on managing our supplier performance and ensuring orders deliver on time to satisfy customer needs while working complex recovery and mitigation plans to avoid risk to overall program schedule. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Hazelwood, MO.

Requirements

5+ years' of working directly with suppliers
5+ years' of experience with Supply Chain and Supplier Management
1+ years' of experience in a leadership role (Manager, Team Lead, Project manager)
3+ years' of experience working directly with supplier recovery
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs.
Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies.
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.
