About The Position

This role is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the availability of medical and surgical supplies in clinical areas. The position involves proactive procurement to prevent stock-outs and maintaining equipment and supplies in optimal condition. Additionally, the role focuses on organizing storage layouts to enhance clinical workflow and accessibility for staff.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inventory cycles to ensure 100% availability of critical medical and surgical supplies in assigned clinical areas.
Identify depleted stock and prepare replacement documentation according to departmental procedures to prevent stock-outs.
Ensure all clinical equipment and supplies are clean, sterile, and in peak working condition for immediate patient use.
Optimize storage layouts to improve clinical workflow and ensure easy access for nursing and medical staff.
