About The Position

The Supplier Selection Lead will be the engine that generates, executes, and oversees the pipeline of projects and programs needed to drive reliability into, and cost out of, all aspects of Supply Chain. The Supplier Selection Lead will lead a cross functional team to achieve strategic milestones, many of which they will personally brief C-suite executives and other Sr. Leadership within Globus. Additional areas of exposure will be integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as, vendor negotiations and contracting during sourcing activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead without direct authority in a decentralized, collaborative, goal-focused environment
  • Ability to brief executives and have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Able to handle multiple, complex projects with varying deadlines and also an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands/needs
  • Must be detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills with the ability to formulate conclusion through reporting
  • Minimum of 4 years supply chain experience required; preferably in a medical device or healthcare manufacturing environment
  • MRP/ERP experience
  • Strong in Excel, and other analytic reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, or other Operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic initiatives from Executives and gives monthly briefs to C-suite leadership on progress toward objective timelines and goals.
  • Creates and maintains a pipeline of projects that seek to make Supply Chain realistic, reliable, predictable, accurate, and cost-effective. These should also deliver +$250k per year in hard Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS) reduction (i.e. cost change in our ERP annualized, removal of spend all together, assigned headcount reduction, etc)
  • Assists in mergers and acquisitions within Supply Chain operational integration activities (Purchasing, Planning, ERP).
  • Actively contributes toward Sourcing discussions, specifically around capacity planning, commodity selection, and developing new vendor competencies.
  • Is comfortable with vendor negotiations and works to achieve the most favorable outcome possible for the Company.
  • Works with Legal where needed on Supply Agreements, Quality Agreements, Letters of Intent, Statements of Work, etc.
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
