About The Position

Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, is a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification. This role will serve as the Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) supporting all Pall Global production sites, owning supplier relationships for assigned supplier groups and commodity categories under the leadership of the Senior Plastics Commodity Manager. The position is part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain Organization and is located onsite in Timonium, MD or Deland, FL. The role involves supporting the formulation and execution of the overall material and commodity strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management OR no degree with 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated focus on Plastics commodities in a global manufacturing company
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
  • Experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools (eRFQ, eBid, eAuction, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP system; Oracle/SAP preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% both domestically & internationally

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relationship Management (40%): attend supplier meetings/Visits, SBR’s, collaborate with the Materials Team, LTA’s/MSA’s negotiate and manage contract administration, improve Supplier OTD, and support site Inventory Target management.
  • Project Management (30%): Project funnel ideation and execution, own Strategic Sourcing visual management (DVM), partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications (FAIR, PPAP, etc.), optimize Supply Chain design to maximize adherence to DMS principles and IMAG
  • Customer (Internal & External) Relationship Management (15%): collaborate with Ops, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Product Management, support external customers as necessary, and drive OTD
  • Location Strategy Execution (15%): Delivery of the Commodity Strategies
