About The Position

The primary purpose of this role is to strategically manage and continuously enhance supplier relationships and performance, with particular emphasis on our most critical suppliers. The role ensures alignment between supplier capabilities and Franke’s cost, delivery, and inventory goals. By fostering collaborative partnerships, the Supplier Relationship & Performance Manager enhances value creation, mitigates supply risks, and contributes to the overall efficiency and resilience of the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Autonomous decision-making within SRM framework, including corrective actions and supplier development plans
  • Joint decision-making with purchasing team, project managers, and account managers
  • Functional leadership of cross-functional supplier performance teams
  • Acts as a change agent in driving a performance- and relationship-oriented supplier management culture
  • Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to align expectations and deliver value
  • Several years of relevant experience in procurement, supplier development, or supply chain management
  • Proven track record in managing strategic procurement-related projects, supplier relationships and driving performance improvements
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement practices, and supplier risk management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in multicultural and matrix environments
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence without direct authority
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SRM tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Jaggaer)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years related experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a supplier relationship management (SRM) framework and governance structure
  • Establish and lead strategic supplier review programs, including scorecards, performance metrics, and corrective action processes
  • Act as a point of contact for strategic suppliers to resolve escalations and foster continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Procurement, Quality, R&D, Operations, Sustainability) to align supplier capabilities with business needs
  • Monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations, rebates, service level agreements (SLAs), and Franke’s sustainability and ethical standards
  • Drive supplier segmentation and risk assessments to prioritize relationship and performance management efforts
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to develop supplier capabilities in innovation, digitalization, purchase order cycle time, and cost competitiveness.
  • Identify and promote best practices in supplier collaboration, performance - and risk management
  • Support the development and implementation of supplier recognition and development programs
