About The Position

Seeking an experienced automotive Supplier Quality professional with hands-on supplier manufacturing experience. The role focuses on supplier quality engineering in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 environment, including supplier audits, corrective actions, defect containment, PPM reduction, manufacturing quality and process improvement, and engineering change management. The position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing. Experience with service or aftermarket parts and on-site supplier support is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience.
• Hands-on supplier manufacturing experience.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with business process improvement and quality analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and travel up to 80%.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with service or aftermarket parts.
• Experience providing on-site supplier support.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier quality engineering activities.
• Conduct supplier audits and manage corrective actions.
• Support defect containment and PPM reduction.
• Improve manufacturing quality and processes.
• Support engineering change management (ECN).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.
• Provide on-site supplier support as needed.
