About The Position

This position assumes overall responsibility for the quality and compliance management of the Siemens Mobility account portfolio. The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for working with EMCOR departments, account teams, and suppliers to ensure work orders are managed within established KPIs and compliance with Service Provider Social Compliance Standards (SSCS) and local laws. The manager will ensure any audits conducted by a third party, K-C Customer, or internal K-C auditors meet the requirements of the audit, which could include social compliance audits such as SMETA 4 pillar or SA8000 (SAI). The role is responsible for managing supplier cost and delivery to all sites, developing strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facilities, and planning/executing audits, routine maintenance, and improvement projects. The manager will partner with the Siemens Mobility team to manage properties, budget, and customer experience, ensuring consistency and high performance of services, and developing/implementing quality control processes and standards to meet SMO audits. Occasional air travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management.
  • OSHA 10 hour and/or 30 Hour card.
  • Ability to read and comprehend and develop/document instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
  • Requires use of MS Project, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Enterprise Software and CMMS required.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.

  • BOMA, IFMA, LEED Certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with EMCOR departments, account teams, and suppliers to ensure work orders are managed within established KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Provider Social Compliance Standards (SSCS) and local laws.
  • Ensure any audits conducted by a third party, K-C Customer, or internal K-C auditors meet the requirements of the audit.
  • Manage supplier cost and delivery to all sites.
  • Develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facilities.
  • Plan and execution of audits, routine maintenance, and improvement projects for facility and equipment.
  • Partner with the Siemens Mobility team to manage properties, budget, and Customer experience.
  • Ensure consistency and high performance of services.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and standards to meet all SMO audits.
  • Regularly audit site performance and work to address issues.
  • Work with sub-contracted vendors to ensure Siemens Mobility receives the best service and cost.
  • Develop an auditing process and establish a QBR schedule with the account Procurement Specialist for key vendors.
  • Establish quarterly business reviews with key vendors (top 5-10) to develop strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Build and develop the EMCOR culture.
  • Assist Finance Manager and Regional Managers on all financials, including monthly billing statements, expense forms, purchase orders, capital forecasting, and budget.
  • Work with AP on process improvements with vendors.
  • Work with the Continuous Improvement & Reliability team to develop more efficient processes and procedures for site personnel.
  • Be a key contributor in training on the CMMS system and CMMS system development.
  • Utilize Six Sigma training as a tool to improve processes and procedures.
  • Own the centralized Fire Extinguisher/system software and ensure proper utilization and training across all sites.
  • Investigate, develop, and implement projects, processes, or activities to reduce or contain costs, increase quality levels, and meet standards.
  • Utilize technical competency, relevant work experience, and comprehensive/diverse facilities knowledge to generate creative solutions.
  • Foster a positive work environment with associates and customers.
  • For associates: train, mentor, manage the review process, and engage in associate development.
  • For customers: develop and maintain a positive relationship that supports open dialogue.
  • Promote commitment to environmental health and safety by adhering to safety practices, investigating concerns, and making recommendations.
