The Supplier Audit Team is looking for a lead auditor who is energetic, independent, and motivated to lead and conduct Quality System and Product/Process audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • 50-75% domestic/international travel is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years audit experience in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Good understanding of AS9100.

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ, RABQSA and/or Lead auditor certifications are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of special processes, manufacturing processes, manufacturing software, inspection processes, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process control, FAI, non-conforming material management and CAR management.
  • Knowledge in collecting, analyzing, and transforming process data into meaningful information shared with senior management as required.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teaming skills and communication skills.
  • Applied knowledge and daily use of CORE principles, especially RCCA/8D methodology.
  • Familiarity with Industry and PW Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing Requirements; and ability to read and comprehend various work instructions, quality manuals and other detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in quality system and product/process audits.
  • Communicate and schedule audits with supplier and team members.
  • Conduct pre-audit research and planning.
  • Conduct the audit.
  • Manage and drive effective analysis and implementation of RCCA’s.
  • Perform internal and external communications as required.
  • Create and assist in the maintenance of audit process standard work.
  • Assist in the development of the annual audit schedule.
  • Interact and communicate with various groups and various levels of P&W management.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives.
