About The Position

As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier-delivered components meet Lockheed Martin’s stringent quality standards. This role is part of the Supplier Quality team, which is responsible for delivering high-performance infrared search-track (IRST) solutions to meet mission-critical requirements. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, drives continuous improvement, and embraces the challenge of supporting mission-critical IRST programs. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related discipline or equivalent education and experience
One (1) year of professional experience or no professional experience with a related master's degree.
Ability to travel (25% or less) to support supplier visits and root cause investigations
Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

Experience with quality assurance methods, tools, techniques, and principles
Experience with first article inspections and AS9102
Experience with source inspection, source surveillance, and supplier special process certifications
Knowledge and understanding of Lockheed Martin nonconformance management systems (Apriso, SAP)
Knowledge and understanding of quality management standards (AS9100, ISO9001)
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical requirements
Experience supporting engineering development efforts
