Requirements

  • 5 -7 years in a manufacturing quality environment
  • Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Electro -mechanical experience (plastic molding, machining, stamping, casting, PCBA, etc.)
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, 8D, SPC, and process capability (CpK)
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality systems
  • Experience with tools like MiniTab or similar statistical software
  • Confidence leading audits, influencing suppliers, and driving accountability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within North America

Responsibilities

  • Lead rapid response investigations, driving root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
  • Conduct and support supplier audits, identifying gaps and implementing sustainable improvements
  • Develop and manage supplier scorecards, turning performance data into action
  • Partner with Engineering to define Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements and robust gaging plans
  • Support new product launches, ensuring suppliers are ready from day one
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across global suppliers
  • Ensure effective execution of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and other quality frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce risk, improve reliability, and exceed customer expectations
