Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Reporting To: Manager, Supplier Quality Work Schedule: Onsite – Blacksburg, VA Supplier Quality Engineer Moog Inc. Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing or a two year technical degree with 3 years of quality/machining experience in a manufacture environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Conducting supplier audits
- Maintaining supplier ratings communication
- On-boarding new suppliers
- Engaging with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Ongoing supplier risk assessment
- Minimizing internal risks related to incoming inspections
