The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring supplier-delivered products and services meet GDMS quality standards, while also providing quality support to the manufacturing floor as needed. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience
Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for conformance to requirements
Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality management systems
Experience managing supplier documentation, FAIRs, and quality plans
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality
Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality management systems
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Six Sigma or CQE certification
Background in defense or aerospace manufacturing

Responsibilities

Evaluating, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers for compliance with quality requirements
Conducting supplier audits, assessments, and corrective action follow-ups
Managing supplier nonconformances and driving root cause/corrective action (RCCA)
Supporting nonconformance disposition and MRB activities on the manufacturing floor
Participating in first article inspections and production readiness reviews
