As our Supplier Quality Engineer, you will execute operational SQM activities at KONE suppliers, providing leadership to suppliers and support internal stakeholders across teams such as Sourcing, Supply Lines, Technology, Modernization, Spares, Major Projects and Installation. You’ll also conduct supplier audits in line with the annual plan and manage the Quality Annex within the Supply and Purchasing Frame Agreement in collaboration with the KONE Contract Owner. Lastly, you will participate in PD/CR projects to ensure supplier launch readiness through activities such as risk management (FMEA), Critical-to Quality (CtQ), and change management (KPPAP).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive and successful experience in engineering, manufacturing, processes & methods, supplier quality management, quality engineering, supply chain management, and sourcing (or other related fields)
  • B.SC level technical STEM / quality / industrial engineering degree. 8 years of related experience also works in lieu of degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning and TS16949 standard, methodology and tools (required)
  • Root cause corrective action and preventive action experience within a manufacturing setting (required)
  • Stakeholder and contract management skills

  • Methods and tools related to (supplier) quality management such as quality control plans, Critical to Quality, Statistical Process Control, Failure-Mode-Effect Analysis, DMAIC Methodology, Six Sigma and Lean, Mistake proofing

Responsibilities
