Responsibilities

• Be a member of a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) to ensure that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components.
• Be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement.
• Develop and maintain the systems used in determining supplier performance metrics for Space Programs.
• Manage supplier relationships, by being main point of contact between Honeywell and suppliers when dealing with product quality concerns, ensuring the highest level of quality in our supply chain.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Root Cause Analysis, Corrective/Preventative Actions, Mistake Proofing, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives. Identify and lead projects related to Continuous Improvements.
• Be a representative in all AS9100 audits pertaining to Supplier Quality Engineering activities and supporting audits for Receiving/Inspection (R/I) processes.
• Be responsible for conducting supplier visits, to include trip reports.
• Be main point of contact for all Basis of Estimate (BOE) requests for Space Program SQE and R/I activities and inputting all data in the AET system.
