About The Position

As the Supplier Program Specialist at Crescent Electric, you will support the Supplier Partnership Department by coordinating supplier program activities, assisting with the administration of CO-OP/Market Development Funds (MDF), and supporting industry events and supplier engagement initiatives.

  • Valid Driver's License with the ability and willingness to travel within company territories as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the vertical markets served by Crescent Electric preferred.
  • A two-year trade school or four-year college degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, internship experience, or relevant administrative experience is strongly recommended.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in administrative support, customer service, vendor coordination, supplier relations, sales support, procurement, or a related business operations role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Supplier Program Manager and Marketing Co-Op Manager to support supplier program initiatives, departmental objectives, and cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of Supplier Summit events, including preparation of presentation materials, communications, logistics, and event support activities.
  • Support the administration and effective utilization of CO-OP/Market Development Funds (MDF), including maintaining accurate financial records, processing related accounting activities, and completing monthly and year-end reconciliations in collaboration with internal teams and supplier partners.
  • Maintain and manage Supplier Relations Management (SRM) and Agency Relations Management (ARM) databases by updating, monitoring, and ensuring the accuracy of supplier and representative agency contact information.
  • Administer and maintain the Supplier Partnership Intranet site, including updates to department contacts, supplier promotions, supplier summit information, and departmental communications such as The Circuit newsletter.
  • Develop, distribute, and manage surveys using SurveyMonkey or similar platforms; compile, analyze, and present survey results for Supplier Summits, industry events, and other business initiatives.
  • Assist with content collection, writing, editing, and distribution of monthly and quarterly company newsletters, including The Wire and The Circuit.
  • Prepare and support the development of supplier reporting, analytics, presentations, and other materials to support departmental goals and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to support supplier engagement activities and ensure timely completion of assigned projects and deliverables.
  • Perform additional administrative, reporting, and project coordination duties as assigned.
