About The Position

DPP is seeking a Supplier Program Manager II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense industry. This is an onsite role in Peabody, MA, for a 10-month W2 contract position. The role requires US Citizenship and a current/active Secret security clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
  • US Citizen
  • Must hold a current/active Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Typically, 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
  • Technical/Engineering degree.
  • Experience with Program Management.
  • Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as it applies to Supplier Management.
  • Strong Supplier Management Skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Missile experience.

Responsibilities

  • Total supplier performance and supplier management strategy.
  • Total materials budget, and all subcontracts, agreements and orders on given major programs or portions of programs.
  • Establishing comprehensive material business plans and forecasts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all costs, schedule, technical, legal and contractual efforts defined in the agreements between each supplier.
  • Partnering with the Program Office, Engineering, Operations and Business Management in developing a program material budget & schedule and then execute within that plan.
  • Within constructs of the execution plan, guide a team in managing and facilitating all relevant suppliers’ program execution.
  • Identifying, mitigating and resolving risks/issues to ensure all work products meet cost, schedule and technical requirements.
  • Leading a team in analyzing critical cost, technical and schedule aspects of supplier proposals, paying special attention to price and any exceptions to terms, the Statement of Work (SOW), the Technical Specifications or any other key requirements.
  • Establish negotiation targets, including major subcontracts and procured material for entire programs.
  • Working onsite managing a supplier at their facility.
