The Supplier Performance Manager will manage select supplier portfolios, serving as the primary distributor contact. This strategic role involves understanding and communicating supplier programs to sales teams, preparing and managing business reviews for market visits, and presenting portfolios at sales meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage select supplier portfolios
  • Be the first distributor point of contact for supplier
  • Understand and communicate supplier programs to sales teams
  • Prepare all business reviews for market visits
  • Manage the supplier’s visit
  • Present portfolio at sales meetings
  • Manage complete pricing strategy- on and off sale with approval of branch GM
  • Maintain GP standards as established by the company
  • Develop price programs by month and brand with approval from GM
  • Prepare Excel sheets for pricing manager
  • Manage and submit all billbacks and samples
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and present to chains with supplier partner or Johnson Brothers chain representative or independently depending on circumstances
  • Forecasting, Management of Vintages, new items and close outs
  • Oversee freight costs and transportation management
  • Prepare enhanced PowerPoint presentations monthly
  • Present in PowerPoint monthly to Suppliers, JB Executive team, and chain customers
  • Own Key Account responsibility-establish exceptional relationships, make monthly visits to on-sale and retail key accounts
  • Responsible for the top ten all channel (on/off combined) Individual independent accounts for each assigned portfolio
  • Communicate and distribute Point of Sale to sales teams and key accounts
  • Establish relationships with Key Accounts
  • Make Monthly visits to defined key accounts – Retail and On-Premise
  • Responsible for all communication related to POS to sales and key accounts
  • Responsible for all distribution of POS through sales channels
