About The Position

The Supplier Oversight Administrator ensures BWXT suppliers properly protect Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) by enforcing NN‑801 requirements, guiding suppliers through compliance, and conducting physical and cyber security assessments. This role serves as a key link between BWXT, suppliers, and government security teams to maintain consistent, high‑quality protection of sensitive information. Approximately 20% travel is expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting government programs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience in procurement, quality assurance, auditing, source inspection, information systems, or security practices
• Prior NN‑801 experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers properly protect sensitive and non‑sensitive NNPI
• Communicate NN‑801 standards and expectations to suppliers
• Guide suppliers as they develop and implement required NN‑801 procedures
• Review and approve supplier security plans for NN‑801 compliance
• Provide NN‑801 training and support to suppliers and internal Supply Chain staff
• Perform physical and cyber security assessments for BWXT and supplier operations
• Coordinate compliance matters with the customer’s Supplier Security Oversight team
• Maintain dashboards tracking key compliance metrics (DD‑2345, CMMC, NN‑801)
• Support NN‑801 flow‑down processes within Supply Chain
• Communicate changes in compliance requirements to Supply Chain teams
• Collaborate on compliance initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects
