About The Position

The Supplier Manager works collaboratively with internal and external suppliers and cross-functional team members to improve on-time shipping performance and ensure established ship plans are met, maintaining service part availability for aftersales customers. The role proactively removes roadblocks and helps suppliers develop corrective actions, with the goal of improving part availability across Allied Sheet Metal, Propulsion, and/or Battery commodities. It supports Allied buildout projects, including plans for every part, bridge execution, and new supplier resourcing. The position maintains on-time shipping targets and monthly Allied scorecards, liaises among purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics, and suppliers, and supports logistics supplier relationships. It assesses supply chain and capacity constraints, supplier schedules, and potential vehicle assembly impacts, leading cross-functional resolution efforts to minimize production disruptions and premium transportation.
